About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Underwriter to join our team at The Travelers Companies, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading insurance company and contribute to the success of our Aviation Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Aviation Underwriting Team in managing the profitability of new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Monitor rate adequacy of all business written or handled for the Aviation Business.
  • Ensure business is written in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Utilize systems to accurately enter quotes, risks, and endorsements.
  • Assist underwriters in providing a timely and professional service to clients.
  • Promote Travelers' Line of Business, distribution strategy, and philosophy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within the London market insurance industry.
  • Ability to effectively share information and build team support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Business professional attitude and positive work ethic.
  • Ability to determine priorities and schedule time effectively.
