9am - 5:30pm (7.5 hours per day) 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

SALARY RANGE:

£50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

NOTICE & PROBATION PERIODS:

6 months' probation / Notice period - TBC

Asset Workforce Limited is a well-regarded Accounting Firm, serving a diverse clientele across various sectors since its inception.

Historically, the firm has maintained a workforce of between 10 and 20 employees, but this changed in recent years with a strategic growth initiative.

The firm has expanded to approximately 45 employees across multiple office locations, focusing on small to medium-sized owner-managed enterprises.

The firm's unique selling proposition lies in the exceptional service and attention it provides to its clients. The organization aims to grow to around 60 employees over the next couple of years.

This growth will be achieved by investing in young talent and onboarding ambitious apprentices, while also ensuring key hires are made at all levels of seniority.

Job Description:


Asset Workforce Limited is in search of a Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their dynamic team, focusing on business development and expanding their operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and strategic business planning, coupled with a drive for growth and opportunity creation.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the team currently includes a trainee Chartered Accountant, with plans to expand as workload increases.



Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and enhance market presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to strengthen the company's market position.
  • Manage client relationships and deliver financial advisory services.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns.
  • Lead and manage a growing team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA)
  • Minimum of 3 years PQE in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience in business development and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
