Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Automation Specialist to join our team at Imperium Recruitment Ltd. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of state-of-the-art material handling equipment, including robot automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, shuttles, cross belt and shoe sortation equipment, and end-of-line boxing and bagging machines.

This is a physically demanding position that requires working at height, for which you will receive full training upon joining the company. As a member of our dedicated Automation team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment and systems, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Routine Maintenance
  • Respond to breakdowns proactively to limit downtime, taking ownership of issues.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • CMMS use
  • Service and repair of equipment on site
  • Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to role requirements

Requirements:

  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 Multi Skilled Engineer
  • A solid understanding of PLCs
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic experience
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Work proactively managing time effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Confidently work at height

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £50,000 DOE
  • Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights
  • 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am
