We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team and ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program to maximise equipment uptime and extend asset life.
- Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with external vendors and contractors to secure necessary products and services.
- Manage supplier relationships and participate in on-call/standby rota outside of normal working hours to support 24-hour production.
- Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment and a zero-accidents culture.
- BEng preferred, or HND of Equivalent in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument Control and Process Engineering).
- SAP intermediate level experience and project management experience and qualifications are desired.
- Significant experience of working in a similar business/manufacturing environment.
