About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Antony George Recruitment as a Trainee Financial Adviser and embark on a career development journey that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shadow experienced Financial Advisers to gain hands-on experience and industry insights
  • Work closely with the administration team to gather policy information and support the delivery of high-quality client services
  • Contribute to projects such as Mifid annual reviews, client campaigns, and annual portfolio rebalances
  • Assist in writing reports, including annual review letters and client suitability reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through face-to-face meetings and client reviews
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
Requirements
  • Must have been studying for exams towards becoming an IFA or fully qualified
  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a paraplanner or advisor support role
  • Degree holder with strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and IHT planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with back-office systems, such as X-Plan or similar, FE Analytics, Cashcalc, and provider platforms
