Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer - Birmingham

The Cardio-Respiratory team at Benton Robertson is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to fill a Band 7 locum position in a Birmingham NHS trust. The ideal candidate will possess BSE Adult Transthoracic Accreditation or equivalent, and will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiography services to patients. This is a temporary opportunity, directly managed by the Lead Cardiac Physiologist, with a contract review scheduled for January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiography procedures to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with the Cardio-Respiratory team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain expertise in echocardiography techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • BSE Adult Transthoracic Accreditation or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
