About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive individual to join Royal IHC Ltd as the Lead HSE Advisor. This role will involve taking the lead on the management of the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality HSE service to the business, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, customers, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular HSEQ reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement safe systems of work to minimize risks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive safety culture within the workplace and ensure that all employees are aware of their HSE responsibilities.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

  • A recognized HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Experience in a health and safety role or a role with exposure to risk assessment and safe systems of work.
  • Industry knowledge and analytical skills to interpret technical information.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential HSE issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and challenge at all levels on HSE issues.

Additional Requirements:

  • This role may involve national and international travel.
  • A driving license is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours to support on-site teams during periods of testing or complex operations.
  • Right to work in the UK.
