About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ward Manager to join our team at Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the ward, including staffing, budgets, and resources
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ward Manager who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registration with the NMC, including full compliance
  • Previous clinical supervisory experience and background as a Ward Nurse
  • Ability to deliver high standards of patient care
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
