Deputy Manager Children's Home (Activity and Intervention)

Arthog, Gwyndd
Salary:
£34,000 plus up to £3,000.00 Relocation
Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am 5pm
The Role:
As a Deputy Manager in a 5 bedded home, you will be accountable for supporting children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural disorders. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. You will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans, and contribute to the overall management of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children
• Manage daily operations, including staff supervision and training
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the Home Manager
• Contribute to the overall management of the service, including budgeting and resource allocation
• Work closely with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers
Requirements:
• Experience of working in a children's home or similar setting
• Qualifications in childcare or a related field
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
