Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Control Panel Design: Oversee the design and build of electrical control panels, including documentation of technical data.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair control panels and electrical infrastructure.
  • Trend BMS System: Assist with building and managing the sitewide Trend BMS system.
  • Panel-Building Skills: Use panel-building skills to implement solutions and increase reliability.
  • Equipment Upgrade: Proactively upgrade equipment and plan for downtime across sites.

  • Electrical Infrastructure: Install, fault-find, and repair electrical infrastructure and equipment.
  • Maintenance and Facilities: Work within the maintenance & facilities team to manage sitewide systems and procedures.

Requirements
  • Electrical Installation Apprenticeship: Electrical installation apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Wiring Regulations: BS7671 18TH Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Industrial Experience: Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment/facility.
  • Lock Out/Tag Out: Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
  • Electrical Safety: Electrical Safety experience.
  • Training and Support: Various training and support will be provided so a desire for personal continuous improvement is required.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills.
  • PLC Systems: Good knowledge of PLC systems within an industrial environment.
  • Machinery Safety Legislation: Experience with Machinery Safety Legislation including PUWER.
