Key Responsibilities- Electrical Safety: Ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Control Panel Design: Oversee the design and build of electrical control panels, including documentation of technical data.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair control panels and electrical infrastructure.
- Trend BMS System: Assist with building and managing the sitewide Trend BMS system.
- Panel-Building Skills: Use panel-building skills to implement solutions and increase reliability.
- Equipment Upgrade: Proactively upgrade equipment and plan for downtime across sites.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance is always maintained.
- Electrical Infrastructure: Install, fault-find, and repair electrical infrastructure and equipment.
- Maintenance and Facilities: Work within the maintenance & facilities team to manage sitewide systems and procedures.
- Communication: Proactive communication with customers and stakeholders via meetings and Maximo.
- Electrical Installation Apprenticeship: Electrical installation apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Wiring Regulations: BS7671 18TH Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Industrial Experience: Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment/facility.
- Lock Out/Tag Out: Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Electrical Safety: Electrical Safety experience.
- Training and Support: Various training and support will be provided so a desire for personal continuous improvement is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills.
- PLC Systems: Good knowledge of PLC systems within an industrial environment.
- Machinery Safety Legislation: Experience with Machinery Safety Legislation including PUWER.
- Confined Space Training: Confined space trained.
- HV Substation Awareness: HV Substation Awareness training.
- IPAF: IPAF.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills.
- Electrical Authorised Person: Electrical Authorised Person trained.
- Optical Fibre/Data Testing: Optical Fibre/Data testing and installation.
- Maximo CMMS: Working knowledge of Maximo CMMS.
- Electrical Test and Inspection: 2391 Electrical Test and Inspection.
- First Aid: First Aid.
