About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Surveyor to join our team at Innovus. As a key member of our property services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering market-leading solutions and professional services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

As a Residential Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking mortgage and other valuations, including matrimonial, probate, and disrepair surveys.
  • Conducting site inspections and producing detailed reports using software and free text reports.
  • Providing expert advice on residential property valuations and surveying.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in residential surveying.
  • Experience of carrying out Level 1, 2, and 3 residential surveys for private clients and/or lending institutions.
  • Proficiency in using tablet technology for site note taking and familiarity with Quest software, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool, and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation.
Desirable Skills

While not essential, experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Development appraisals.
  • Party Wall Awards.
  • Project management.
Qualifications

You will need to be MRICS or FRICS qualified.
