About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including multi-sensory impairment
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as food preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Support clients to access community resources and engage in social activities
  • Work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Understanding of multi-sensory impairment and its implications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to use technology to support care delivery
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and respect for clients' dignity and autonomy
