Easton Bevins Limited is a reputable independent Building Consultancy firm offering a comprehensive range of professional services tailored to both residential and commercial sectors.
We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Building Surveyor, or a surveyor with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, to join our growing team. This role is based in our newly established office in Central London, where you will play a key role in enhancing our service offerings to our diverse clientele.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a dynamic workload with significant opportunities for career advancement. This position is suitable for a Chartered Building Surveyor or a non-chartered surveyor with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
The successful applicant must possess a RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying and have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough building surveys, site evaluations, and asset management assessments.
- Perform pre-acquisition and technical due diligence evaluations.
- Manage construction contracts with values ranging from £50,000 to over £5,000,000.
- Collaborate with the architectural team to prepare tender documents, develop specifications, and advise on contractor appointments while acting as Contract Administrator.
- Evaluate the condition of existing properties, identify and analyze defects, and generate reports that highlight issues along with recommended solutions.
- Create condition schedules and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Prepare and negotiate dilapidation claims.
- Handle Party Wall matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
