We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Repair Engineer to join our team at MarkMay, a leading provider of heating services to social housing communities. As a permanent member of our network, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents by servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems within social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Safety Inspections: Perform routine safety checks for leaks and emissions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency call-outs for breakdowns or leaks, prioritizing the safety of residents and staff.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate records of work completed.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns, reducing the risk of accidents and ensuring the smooth operation of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Service and Repair Engineer, preferably in social housing.
