KO2's client, a pioneering start-up in Leeds City Centre, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their innovative team. This company, founded by experts with backgrounds at Leonardo, BAE, and NATO, is revolutionizing IoT security with its cutting-edge platform.

The platform provides comprehensive security insights across Linux and RTOS devices, leveraging machine learning to analyse and profile issues in real-time. With over £1 million in pre-seed investment from Techstars London, the company is poised for rapid growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software libraries for seamless integration into customer firmware.
  • Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS), particularly Zephyr or Nordic chipsets, to ensure robust and efficient software development.
  • Develop tools for log collection, observability, and offloading to enhance customer tech stacks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
  • Strong background in RTOS, Zephyr, or Nordic chipset development.
  • Proficiency in embedded C, with a focus on creating fast, reliable software.
  • Experience in observability software and tooling is a plus.

What We Offer:
