About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our CAMHS Intensive Home Treatment Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own workload within the requirements of the post, working autonomously as a practitioner.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our service, working collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with 'hard to reach clients' in clinical and non-clinical environments, using your skills and expertise to build trust and rapport.
  • Use appropriate IT packages and email competently, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of our digital infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Training: Registered professional with a degree or diploma in a relevant field, post-basic training in child and adolescent mental health, and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience: Two years post-qualifying experience in a relevant field, with a working knowledge of health, social care, education, criminal justice, and the independent sector.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Up-to-date working knowledge of legislation relevant to CAMHS and mental health, competent in assessing mental health risk and difficulties, and able to engage with clients in a collaborative way.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a car driver with a full current driving license and own transport, and a willingness to work as a lone worker in community settings.
