About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kenton Black. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for commercially and contractually managing a scheme up to the value of £10 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of a construction project, including contract administration and financial management.
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong background in commercial and contractual management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex commercial and contractual issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
