About the Role:
  • Ensure the premises, their service contents, and facilities are well-maintained and report any defects to the Leader of Premises.
  • Conduct regular security checks and inform the authorities of any trespassers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • **Facilities Management**: Carry out routine repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the school's facilities are in good condition.
  • **Exam Hall Preparation**: Set up exam halls and ensure they are ready for use.
  • **Contractor Liaison**: Work with external contractors to arrange repairs and maintenance.
  • **Health and Safety Compliance**: Apply health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • **Fire Alarm Testing and Maintenance**: Test fire alarms regularly to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • **Decorative Services**: Carry out painting and decorating tasks to maintain the school's appearance.
  • **Administrative Support**: Provide basic administrative support to the school.
  • **Grounds Maintenance**: Maintain the school grounds and ensure they are tidy and well-maintained.
Requirements:
  • **Key Handling Experience**: Previous experience of handling keys and access control systems.
  • **Teamwork and Collaboration**: Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • **Physical Fitness and Mobility**: Be physically fit and able to work at height or in confined spaces.
  • **Strong Work Ethic**: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

A full enhanced DBS check is required for this role. We will support you through the process.
