• Design and Implement Wireless Networks: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize wireless networks from the ground up.
• Wireless Network Troubleshooting: Use various tools to evaluate, test, and fine-tune wireless products, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and monitoring systems.
• Cisco DNA Center and Prime Infrastructure: Install, configure, and customize Cisco DNA Center, CMX, and Prime Infrastructure.
• Wireless Site Survey: Lead and perform wireless site surveys with vendor engineers, generating survey reports, including AP layouts.
• Network Optimization: Optimize wireless network coverage and performance in high-density areas by reviewing current wireless system configurations.
• Security and Compliance: Work with the security team to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with appropriate security configuration standards.
• Change Management: Design and deploy changes to existing wireless device configurations according to the applicable change management process.
• Documentation: Write manuals and document current network procedures.
• Technical Expertise: Possess extensive experience in configuring and customizing Cisco DNA Center Software, Cisco Connected Mobile Experience, and Prime Infrastructure.
• Wireless Site Survey Tools: Strong experience utilizing wireless site survey toolsets and generating reports.
• Wireless Client High Density Design: Deep knowledge and experience with wireless client high-density design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Wireless Security: Deep knowledge and experience in wireless security, authentication, and encryption protocols, including Cisco ISE.
• Routing and Switching: Knowledge of Cisco IOS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
• Core Networking Protocols: In-depth understanding of core CCNA & CCNP (Routing and Switching protocols), Check Point firewall, ASA, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, STP, and SRP.
• Support and Implementation: Experience in supporting and implementing Routing, Switching, Security, and Wireless.
• Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and service providers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify critical IT issues and propose viable solutions.
• Equipment Upgrades: Upgrade customer data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain routing and switching equipment, network management and authentication systems, wireless systems, and location-based services.
• Remote Support: Provide remote support for onsite engineers and customers during installation or hardware support.
• Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Perform remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
