About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supporting our chefs to deliver exceptional food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up the kitchen for service, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are ready for the day.
  • Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the chefs in expediting food, maintaining a smooth service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or pub setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
