Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead our team at Blackwater Mill in the Isle of Wight. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring that our residents receive outstanding care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a strong management team, including a Support Manager, a Deputy Manager, and 2 Heads of Care
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
- Manage staff rotas, training, and development to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Monitor and improve the overall performance of the care home, including financial management and business development
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction
Requirements
- NVQ 5 or equivalent (we can provide training if required)
- At least 5 years of experience in the care industry, with a proven track record in management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong business acumen, with experience in financial management and business development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
