F1 Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

This exciting long-term contract role for a Mechanical Design Engineer is a unique chance to showcase your expertise and skills with a world-leading Formula 1 organisation.

You will be a key member within the team and the person who secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects.

The duration of this contract is estimated to be 12 months minimum and will be inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design complex jigs and fixtures for various machining methods using Catia or NX.
  • Deliver build tooling to all build areas, including Electrical, Motor, and Gearbox projects, and trackside.
Requirements:
  • Experience with modern machining methods and consideration of costs when designing parts.
  • Background in the Motorsport, Aerospace, Automotive, or other niche engineering sector.
