Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and implement superior planning and scheduling standards to Project Managers on various projects.
- Create comprehensive, logic-linked project plans in Primavera P6 aligned with project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Ensure the integration of project control procedures within the project delivery framework.
- Provide expert guidance through regular schedule updates, whether daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Generate monthly planning reports, resource updates, and forecasts.
- Produce ad-hoc reports to inform Project Managers of significant schedule impacts and their implications on progress and completion.
- Prepare documentation and participate in regular planning and progress meetings.
- Lead and support the development of a team of Planners.
Qualifications:
- A recognized diploma or degree, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in all facets of planning and scheduling using Primavera products.
- Experience in Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of resourcing, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting, and status reporting.
- Comprehensive experience across the entire project and program lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation/Commissioning processes.
- Ability to reconcile cost information relevant to project work.
- Proficient in interpreting estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk management tools.
- Skilled in utilizing Earned Value Analysis.
- Familiarity with contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, IChemE, or FIDIC.
- Strong client interfacing skills with the capacity to provide both strategic and project-related advice.
- Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
- Competent IT skills.
- Understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
