Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Casual Nursery Worker to join our team at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Daventry, part of Grandir UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a positive role model to ensure the maintenance of Grandir UK values
- Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, and children
- Supervise and support children at all times, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and attractive environment, ensuring the nursery is a safe and happy space for children to learn and grow
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners, promoting learning and development through play
- Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting high-quality education and care
- Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures, and operational practices
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
- Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained, respecting the privacy and dignity of children and families
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required, ensuring ongoing professional development and growth
