Family Support Worker Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Nottingham to fill a Family Support Worker position on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. If you're passionate about supporting children and families, please submit your CV for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with families to establish short break packages for children, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Develop and review care packages, write reports, arrange meetings, and conduct statutory visits.
  • Participate in a duty rota and provide support to social workers with families requiring additional assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with disabilities is essential.
  • Mental capacity experience is highly desirable.

Important Notes:

  • Availability to start immediately or on short notice is required.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS is necessary for this role.
