Electronics Design Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at The One Group, a global leader in modern facilities just outside of Cambridge.

We are looking for a talented Electronics Design Engineer to contribute to the technical design and specification of products, collaborate across disciplines to resolve design and integration issues, and develop and execute test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the technical design and specification of products
  2. Collaborate across disciplines to resolve design and integration issues
  3. Develop and execute test plans
  4. Progress reporting to project team and line manager

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  2. Strong understanding of fundamental electronics principles
  3. Experience of selecting and confirming suitability of devices to meet core requirements, and understanding of the wider implications on hardware and software
  4. Familiarity with digital interfaces, including I2C, UART and USB
  5. Familiarity with analogue interfaces
  6. Experience of a product development environment
