Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £17.50 per hour
DK Recruitment is seeking a skilled painter and decorator to join our team. As a painter and decorator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading specifications to determine required materials
- Building and installing access equipment, such as towers
- Repairing cracks and holes in walls
- Removing old paint or wallpaper using sanding, scraping, heat guns, liquid paint removers, or steam strippers
- Mixing and thinning paint
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper or fabric to walls
- Applying paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes
- Using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment
- Tidying up and cleaning your tools
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in painting and decorating. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role after a successful probation period.
