About the Role

Marsden is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team on a permanent or temp to perm basis. As an integral part of our small team, you will report directly to our General Counsel.

This is a hybrid working role, with 1-2 days/week spent in our office west of London. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in public procurement contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements;
  • Resolving commercial disputes;
  • Advising on best practice risk management and compliance;
  • Providing general legal advice to key stakeholders and taking lead on projects and BAU work.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have 2+ years PQE with experience gained in-house or private practice in a similar capacity as a commercial lawyer.

You will bring demonstrated skills in drafting and negotiating public procurement contracts, working in a busy environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, and managing a varied workload.
