Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and insightful family assessments.
  • Collaborate actively with the service leadership team to refine and enhance assessment processes.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the development of staff and resident training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to effectively fulfill your diverse responsibilities within the team.

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognized Degree in Social Work or an equivalent Diploma.
  • Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Proven experience working within residential family assessment centers, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments in similar settings.
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise information delivery.
  • Experience in preparing court reports, demonstrating your ability to present complex information effectively.
  • A proven track record of working effectively with parents and children, building strong relationships based on trust and understanding.
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills, enabling you to assess situations accurately and make informed decisions.
