Job Role:

  • Supporting a small group of children with Autism, providing one-to-one and small group assistance to aid their learning and development.
  • Implementing individualised learning plans and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Working closely with other teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 EYP qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with Autism or other special needs.
  • Ability to implement individualised learning plans and EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
