Garment Technologist / Pattern Cutter

Our client, a renowned manufacturer of specialist equipment, is seeking a skilled Garment Technologist / Pattern Cutter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new garment concepts and designs
  • Liaising with factories to ensure quality standards are met and instructions are followed
  • Approving samples from first fit to final sample stage
  • Creating garment specifications and size charts
  • Creating and approving patterns
  • Interpreting customer needs through specification format
  • Liaising with suppliers and sourcing materials
  • Managing a team of 5 production staff

Person Specification:

  • Confident and clear communicator
  • Previous experience working as a Garment Technologist / Pattern Cutter
  • Ability to source materials and liaise with suppliers
  • Staff management experience
