Job Summary:

N Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unix Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our Unix infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for Unix systems, including AIX, Solaris, and Linux.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Unix infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
  • Project Delivery: Work on projects to deliver technical solutions and improvements to our Unix infrastructure.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for break-fix issues and troubleshoot complex technical problems.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with application teams and other infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Expert level knowledge of Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux) and Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server (SFHA), and Veritas NetBackup Client.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Unix infrastructure and technical leadership roles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Certifications: Industry standard certifications for Unix and Cluster Technologies, such as ITIL.
