A prominent organization within the financial services industry is seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer with a focus on Automation, possessing a robust understanding of Microsoft Azure and its comprehensive suite of offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design, testing, and upkeep of virtualization solutions tailored for the enterprise
  • Create solutions that meet business needs and deliver measurable advantages
  • Guide and support junior colleagues to elevate the overall skill set of the team

In a fast-paced setting, you will have the opportunity to delve into the Azure technology ecosystem, collaborate with external partners, and shape product strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of AZ104 and AZ140 certifications
  • Experience with Azure offerings including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Security, and Networking Components
  • Understanding of Azure governance, policy frameworks, and security compliance measures
  • Expertise in securing virtual environments and managing threat detection, incident response, and compliance protocols
  • Proficiency in automation technologies such as Logic Apps, Functions, Azure Automation, and Event Grid
  • Familiarity with AVD architecture, deployment strategies, management tools, and security best practices
  • Experience with Infrastructure & Configuration as Code methodologies and tools: Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar
  • Demonstrated skills in PowerShell, KQL, and YAML for automating AVD-related processes
  • Building and deploying secure and scalable Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments utilizing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of Git or other version control systems for effective IaaC code management
  • Onsite presence required for two days each week
