Position Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our systems across the UK, primarily within laboratory environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance on advanced electron microscopes, including Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM).
  • Managing your schedule effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Providing exceptional support to clients to enhance their experience with our products.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we require:

  • Experience in electronic or electrical engineering, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous engineering experience in the medical, scientific, or military sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive package that includes:

  • A bonus equivalent to one month's salary.

  • A daily lunch allowance of £5 and an overnight allowance of £20 (claimable without receipts).
