Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Relief Security Officer to join our team in Dundee. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their premises.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional and dynamic team, providing a high level of security and customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, maintaining a high level of vigilance and awareness at all times.
As a Relief Security Officer, you will work a variety of shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in security, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will hold a valid SIA licence and have a good understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including intruder alarms and CCTV footage
- Conduct regular security patrols of the premises, including internal and external areas
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients and visitors, including greeting and escorting them to their destinations
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness at all times, including during quiet periods
- Record and report all security incidents and faults, including any health and safety hazards
- Valid SIA licence
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a security role
- Good understanding of security protocols and procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
