Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to join our team at Swale Academies Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils in mainstream classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with teachers to provide general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction of the classroom teacher.
  • Support pupils to understand instructions and facilitate independent learning, helping to provide inclusion for all pupils.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans to meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children in a similar environment.
  • A good general education including English, Maths and Science GCSE's.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Evidence of other TA related qualifications or training.
  • Experience of supporting those with specific learning difficulties.
