Job Summary:

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our client's team in a busy aerospace/defence precision engineering company. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for performing thorough inspections of mechanical components using precision measuring tools and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components using CMM and other measuring tools
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identify and document any deviations or defects in the manufacturing process
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and ideally Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and standards
