Our Work: We expose torture globally, fight to hold torturing states accountable, and campaign for fairer treatment of torture survivors in the UK. Our services are centered around survivors, empowering them to take an active role in their healing process.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Member of the Board of Trustees to join our committed team. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience, including strategic leadership, a deep understanding of evidence-based clinical models for torture/trauma survivors, and prior governance experience in a charitable or statutory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to our clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to survivors.
  • Expertise in Torture/Trauma Survivors: Bring your knowledge and experience in evidence-based clinical models to inform our services and improve outcomes for survivors.
  • Governance Experience: Contribute your expertise in governance to ensure the effective management of our organization.
