Aerospace Assembly and Maintenance Role

**Job Summary:**

Meritus is seeking a skilled Semi-Skilled Fitter to join our client in Darwen, working on exciting aerospace programmes. The successful candidate will assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of aerospace components.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the assembly and fitting of aerospace components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Carry out routine inspections and quality checks on assembled parts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Report any issues or defects identified during the fitting process to supervisors or quality control.
* Utilize basic mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training.

**Requirements:**

**What We Offer:**

* Competitive hourly rate of £22.
* 4-day week with 37 hours per week.
* Overtime premium rate.
* Onsite role with single-stage interview.
