Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Palace Barracks, Holywood. As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving Food and Beverages
    • Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
    • Operate the till and handle cash transactions.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and present food and beverages to a high standard.
    • Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services.
  • Stock Management and Cleaning
    • Take delivery and restock goods.
    • Ensure stock rotation and assist with stock checks.
    • Clean back of house and front of house service areas.
  • Supporting the Team
    • Support the delivery of evening hospitality events.
    • Assist with setup and preparation for hospitality events.

Requirements

  • Food Hygiene and Health and Safety
    • Hold a Food Hygiene and Health and Safety level 2 certificate or be willing to obtain one via our e-learning system.
  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
