We are seeking an ambitious and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Nano Fibre UK. Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a new member for our HR team to assist the Head of HR in the delivery of day-to-day HR and key HR team initiatives and projects.

This role will be varied and will offer an opportunity to support the Head of HR and the HR team with all aspects of the HR roles and functions within the business. The successful candidate will have proven experience working within a generalist HR team and will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of employment law in the UK, with hands-on experience of running a range of complex cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently.
  • Lead first-line managers in assessment and diagnosis to turn problem-solving into action.
  • CIPD Level 5 minimum or equivalent.
  • Significant employment case experience supporting and coaching line managers.
  • Experience of developing policies and processes in an employment context.
  • Some experience of entry-level business partnering to first-line managers.
  • Deep understanding of UK employment law and evidence of how this has been applied in a commercial context.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage Excel with a data analytics mindset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all HR practices and procedures are followed, managing a wide variety of cases, and supporting the Head of HR and the HR team with all aspects of the HR roles and functions within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Advisory: Provide expert advice to line managers on employment law and HR practices.
  • Case Management: Manage a wide variety of cases, including performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support the company strategy.
  • Training and Development: Work closely with the training team to identify training needs, design development plans, and monitor the impact.
  • Business Partnering: Support line managers to build confidence and competence in dealing with people-related challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working within a generalist HR team.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law in the UK.
