About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at City Facilities Management. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Respond promptly to service call/alarm requests and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times.
  3. Perform service and maintenance on a range of HVAC assets, including air handling units, gas fired heating systems, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, and water chillers.
  4. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line Manager of findings, making recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
  5. Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with our Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Requirements
  1. You will hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, including at least 4 of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
  2. F Gas qualified.
  3. 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable).
  4. You will be professional, pleasant, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful at all times, with a hands-on, can-do approach to your work.
  5. A positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment and adapt accordingly, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  6. Experience of HVAC/Gas in a multi-site environment.
  7. Full Driving Licence and willingness to travel on a daily basis.
