Job Summary:

CMR & Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to join our established and expanding team at our manufacturing site. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting and operating injection moulding machines in line with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tool and Machine Setting: Perform tool changes and set machine processes following best practices and safety procedures.
  • Production Efficiencies: Provide hands-on process support, ensure efficient tool changes, and minimize machine downtime.
  • Quality Control: Obtain 'first and last off' approval samples, maintain consistent quality throughout the production run, and work with management and operators to address production issues.
  • Machine and Tool Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance of machines and tools, coordinate with support staff for advanced maintenance and repairs.
  • Document Control: Create and manage master setting sheets, maintain production and quality instruction displays.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an injection moulding environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a pressurised environment and meet deadlines.
  • Hard-working attitude with flexibility to adapt to changes.
  • A solid understanding of health & safety requirements.
