Personal Injury Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join our team at Gabbott Recruitment Online Limited. As a Personal Injury Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims, from initial instructions to settlement or trial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including EL PL and RTA cases
  • Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations regarding quality and service
  • Take initial instructions from clients and assess funding requirements
  • Investigate limitation, liability, causation, and assess quantum
  • Advise clients and take initial instructions from them
  • Liaise with insurers and negotiate settlements
  • Draft court documents and evidence gathering and negotiation work
  • Advocacy as and when required, including liaison with Counsel and instructions to Counsel
  • Prepare predictive costs calculations and negotiate settlements
  • Provide assistance to team members and comply with office procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid file handling experience and litigation experience
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
