We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Turner to join our team in the aerospace sector. This position involves working with advanced CNC lathes to manufacture critical components for aircraft systems.
- Operate two and three-axis CNC lathes equipped with Fanuc controls.
- Experience in CNC programming is a plus.
- Interpret and analyze technical schematics and drawings.
- Utilize imperial measuring instruments for precision work.
- Produce parts for essential aircraft components, including landing gears and flap systems.
- Conduct rework and overhaul of components within the aviation industry.
- Adhere to the company's environmental protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a Practical Experience Record (PER) book to document your work.
- Provide training in specific areas based on your qualifications and expertise.
- Comply with safety and environmental regulations as well as company policies.
The ideal candidate for the CNC Turner position should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum education of GCSE level or equivalent.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
- Proficient in operating two and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Skilled in CNC programming techniques.
