Atlas Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join a prominent global leader in the Aerospace and Defence sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in comprehending business needs and formulating comprehensive cost analyses and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine historical cost data, program specifics, and technical information within the Supply Chain.
  • Facilitate the creation of new cost estimates and pricing models to guide business decisions.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cost reduction within the Supply Chain to address financial challenges.
  • Conduct scenario modeling, including "what if" and "should cost" analyses, utilizing various techniques and tools, including raw engineering data.
  • Oversee cost and pricing activities across the organization to ensure all program aspects and associated risks are thoroughly evaluated.
  • Lead and support negotiations with suppliers and assist in customer audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in cost analysis, planning, forecasting, or business modeling/analysis.
  • Understanding of business and supply chain operations to make informed estimating and analysis decisions.
  • Proficient in advanced MS Excel for modeling and analysis, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as POWER BI and TABLEAU.
  • Preferred educational background includes a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Engineering.
