This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our UK Audit team, where you will focus on conducting operational and compliance-related audits for the UK and Canada Credit Card business.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of the Annual Audit Plan across both the UK and Canada Card businesses, including limited travel opportunities.
- Gain a full understanding of the Card business.
- Develop and nurture strong and effective working relationships with key business partners and the wider Audit group.
- Operate independently to ensure work is completed to schedule and meets our high-quality standards.
- Assist in communicating issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management.
- Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers their commitments within the agreed timescales.
- Proactively seek out learning opportunities to continue to grow and develop in the role.
- Experience in internal or external auditing, risk management, accounting, financial analysis, information systems, compliance, or another related field.
- Relevant qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, IIA, or equivalent) preferable.
- Proven skills in assessing business risks and the ability to identify and design risk-based testing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport and trust with ease.
- Logical and rational judgement and an inquiring mind.
- Experience in designing and executing tests using data (although coding skills are not essential).
- A permanent position based in our Nottingham office.
- A hybrid working model, with the opportunity to work from home on Monday and Friday.
