We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary project teams in profitably delivering development and design projects for a leading consultancy in the utilities sector.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will take responsibility for the technical, contractual, financial and programme performance of these projects, all while providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team to deliver the scope of work on time and to budget (with profitable outcomes).
- Lead on H&S and CDM for projects.
- Minimise risk to the company by negotiating contract terms and conditions.
- Engage and manage subcontractors as required.
- Plan and lead the site visit and survey strategies.
- Prepare and manage the Project Programme(s).
- Lead new project tenders or quotes.
- Suitable engineering or town planning related degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years relevant transmission and distribution design or delivery project experience.
- Development Consent Order (or similar) or linear infrastructure planning experience desirable.
- OHL, cable, or substation design experience desirable.
- NEC contract knowledge desirable.
