Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of projects from feasibility studies through to negotiation of final accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor project progress, manage cash flow, and prepare detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure projects stay on track and meet client expectations.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
