Key Responsibilities

In the role of Channel Sales Enablement Program Manager, you will collaborate with leaders across the go-to-market organization to identify requirements and deliver programs tailored for Trimble's indirect sales channel within the AECO sector (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) on a global scale, primarily focusing on Europe. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales enablement strategies aimed at equipping the indirect sales team with essential training and resources to enhance skills, seize opportunities, effectively communicate product value, and secure deals - ultimately driving sales growth. You will work alongside sales enablement colleagues to adapt direct sales content to meet the channel's specific needs, facilitating quicker onboarding and skill enhancement, improving product knowledge, and optimizing tools. You will play a vital role in a collaborative, innovative, and engaging Center for Excellence team.

  • Collaborate closely with channel sales leaders to identify and create enablement resources aligned with sales objectives and seller competencies, providing ongoing support and coaching to ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement enablement processes and content that align with business goals and are designed for effective learning.
  • Develop scalable processes for global channel communications and training, utilizing existing content and programs where feasible.
  • Design and manage learning and enablement initiatives to foster seller success:
  • Conduct needs assessments to define strategy and content
  • Create and develop training and assessment materials across various delivery formats, including instructor-led classroom sessions, virtual training, e-learning (videos, job aids), and role-play scenarios.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts to plan and develop training objectives, goals, and all course materials for training modules, assessments, tools, and events.
  • Ensure all materials comply with instructional design principles and interactive usability based on customer requirements.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness.
  • Extend core technologies to Trimble's indirect channel, particularly for accessing content and learning.
  • Implement metrics to assess the impact of training and development initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of indirect sales channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales operations to enhance processes, boost efficiency, and drive sales effectiveness.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among indirect sales partners, fostering a supportive and synergistic environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs within a sales context to develop sales skills; demonstrated expertise in needs analysis and creating learning programs to address identified needs; ability to effectively design and develop learning content including training materials, job aids, documents, and videos.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or learning & development, preferably within a hardware or software organization.
  • Familiarity with all components of the ADDIE model, from Analysis and Design through to developing and monitoring Evaluation models.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in independently interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts at various organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated team player, open to others' ideas and willing to explore new approaches.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to delivering timely, high-quality solutions to customer challenges.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience utilizing eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline / Rise) to create online learning modules.
  • Experience managing learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms; familiarity with CRM management systems, Salesforce preferred.
